When it comes to homeless and poor people, it is not rare to people feel these discomforting feelings that probably you are feeling now.I wonder why.

What does create so much discomfort?

To face the unfairness of life, and realize that while we brag about a bad cooked dinner, someone is trying to forget hungry?

Or to remember that you, as a child who promised to save the world, failed when you see these people?

Perhaps maybe it is because the little humanity that lies in our soul can still recognize pain in our similar.....Or It might just be our growing selflessness using this images as a message to remind us where we do not want to be.

Wherever is your reason, for some of then, we can't take our eyes off then, even if we took.

It is so dark....maybe because it is night. Funny, I used to like night...

Smell of alcohol....I never liked it...

I know what is this! it is leather, real leather....but, It is meaningless now...

And after solve the jigsaw, what is the result? A beautiful thought from a distorted mind, or a distorted thought from a beautiful mind? How can we know? What is reflex, what is image? what is distorted, what is real?

If the day is the white, the night is the black, the sunset is the gray. It is everything that lies in between black and the white. It is dramatic, blurry, narrow and after all fugal.

One might say that everything needs to be either black or white, and the gray should be just forget, but like all other transition, the gray is needed. In the transitions, we are able to realize how clear is the white and how dark is the black, we can see, for a moment, from what we are coming from, and for what we are heading to.

And don't worry, even if you lose the gray, even if the sunshine is not beautiful enough, we received enough mercy to be gifted with a tomorrow, and tomorrow my friend, there will be a new sunshine.

Eyes can be pretty tricky sometimes. At the same time they can catch very beautiful and good scenes, in the day by day they can just be lazy and let go marvelous scenes, as if suddenly, all we see is background with a lacking (and missing) subject.

Sometimes I wonder, is it just our eyes? How many emotions we lack to understand, how many hearts we fail to hear and how many smiles that we just ignore?

If we fail to look through so many humanity, my question is, In the end, how many humans are just background for us?

Open Skies

I think, generally, everybody who likes to take pictures spent a lot of their lives looking up, high to the sky, and amazed by how deep, blue and wide our ceiling can be, had this infant instinct to proudly show up to the world what their eyes captured.

With me is no different, I like to look up, my God is there, his science is there, her love is there, their peace is there, because after all, the sky is still an open place that remind us that we are the same, even if we are different.

Daddy always liked fishing, I always hated. Being stuck in the same position for hours, waiting for some moment that might came or not, I never understood this.

But recently, taking long exposition photos are giving me kinda same sensation, still, not for hours, but those minutes waiting, adjusting, looking....somehow I am kinda understanding now what is so fun about fishing, thanks to my camera and a 780 yen tripod
